2nd meeting of the PROFESSOR ILLOUZ ASSOCIATION

This Scientific and Business meeting will take place during the Congress on Thursday Sept. 24th, 2009, in parallel with the main scientific program. The program will include several lectures and presentations by members of the Association, focused on liposuction, abdominoplasty and other lipoplasty procedures. Registered Participants of the Congress are invited to attend. The contestants of the USD 5,000 "Illouz Award" will present their papers during this meeting.

1st Professor Illouz Award

This Award we will be given for the best unpublished free-paper on recent advances in plastic surgery of the adipose tissue. This award aims to stimulate research and the creation of new techniques or new approaches to well-known techniques. There will be a first prize for the best free-paper, a plaque and an award of US$5,000. There will be only one winner, and, if necessary, honorable mentions to deserving free-papers. The judges will be Prof. Yves Gerard Illouz, Prof. Luiz Toledo and Dr. Theodore Voukides. The rules and regulations can be obtained from the Secretary of the 11th ESPRAS CONGRESS (followed by an ISAPS Course, which is organized in Rhodes from Sept. 20th to 26th), 2009.
